8/12 CVS

I've decided that in addition to MY personal runs I will begin to post the deals for the week at the stores I frequent like: CVS, Walgreens, and Target so that everyone (if there IS anyone, lol) who follows can know the deals ahead of time and prepare for the week and just use my transactions as a sort of guideline or cheat sheet to check up on. Anyway, here are the deals I took part in today: spend $15 on selected candy (on sale for 2/$1) get back $5 in ECB's and Huggies 2/$18 get back $4 in ECB's. There's also a "hidden deal" in the candy aisle. The orange bags of Peanut butter M&M's that state "medium size" are regularly priced at $3.99 ring up at either .99 or .39. The first store I went to today had them for .99 so I bought one and the second store had then at .39 and I bought 2. So here's the transaction:

Bought:
30 2.07oz Snickers candy bars- 2/$1
2 packages of Huggies diapers- 2/$18
2 medium size bags PB M&M's- .39
SUBTOTAL: 33.78

Used:
2 $1.50 Huggies diapers
15 $1/2 Snickers candy bar
1 $5/25 CVS purchase from website (www.cvs.com- complete the readyfill quiz from front page)
AFTER COUPONS: $10.78

Paid:
$9 in ECB's
$1.78 + $1.04 in tax on CVS gift card
SPENT: $11.82

Received:
$5 WYB $15 of selected candies (including Snickers)
$4 WYB 2 selected Huggies products
ECB's RECEIVED: $9

Spent: $11.82
Received: $9
Cost me: $2.82

8/4 CVS run

Royally screwed up this run. I had everything strategically planned out with 3 transactions and everything I would pay OOP and go off without a hitch. I should have known that something somewhere would go horribly wrong. They were out of some of the items I wanted, but then I thought I had found the correct item (turned out I was wrong) so the cashier fought with me that my total was correct when I knew it was higher than I wanted it to be so finally she turned the screen around so I could see it and told her to void some of the items. Trouble was she had already scanned in some of my ECB's so I was negative when she voided the items resulting in her voiding some of the ECB's and forgetting to give me back $1.98 of voided ECB's. Ick, I was too frazzled to argue with her though so I took my loss and left. Here's how they went down:
